Abstract:
Plastics are vastly being used which is the 12th highest earning export sector in Bangladesh. In the last fiscal year, Bangladesh imported 1.3 lakh tons (Tk 10,614 crore) of raw materials for making plastic products. The average, plastic consumption in our country is about two kg per person where PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) bottles are in huge portion. The matter of concern is the impact of PET bottles on environment is alarming. By recycling of PET bottle, we can convert the wastages to product, that is man-made fiber. This is one of the effective ways of waste management engineering. Day by day in the third world countries like us plastics are being wasted here and there it causes waterlogged, global warming that is the concern of survival for the living beings. This issue can be solved by using PET bottles & reformation process. Our model is to produce plastic wool fiber by recycling the PET bottles. We can use those wool as pillow, yean, textile clothing, carpet, kids playing item. Moreover, it is an eco-friendly project. Plastic reformation is a high-volume manufacturing process in which raw plastic is melted and formed into a continuous profile. This process starts by feeding plastic material from a hopper into the barrel. It is heated to proper temperature and blended into a homogeneous melt and finally we got our product as plastic wool. It takes 8 times less energy consumption than to produce an equivalent amount of new one. Proliferation in the use of PET bottle on the back of 7 – 8 % CAGR(Compound Annual Growth Rate) growth coupled with low scale of recycling (about 30 – 40 %) to yield abundant feed stocks to be recycled .Recycling of PET bottle has been improving over the years, now it added a new dimension of PET fiber reforming by PET bottle.







Objectives:
·       Recycle PET bottles to reduce its harmful effects on air, water and human
·       Develop an Eco-system of reusing 100% of PET bottles by creating sustainable businesses and jobs
·       Produce plastic fibers in low cost

Introduction:
The fiber that comes from a sophisticated reformation process of PET bottles defined as PET fiber also knows as man-made fiber. It is a versatile material Having a wide range of applications such as clothing, sportswear, agricultural nets, nonwovens, straps, fiber furniture accessories, medicine packs and many other vibrant domestic demands. The reformation of PET bottles to PET fiber will added a new trajectory of sustainable development and increase economic growth rate in Bangladesh. We can recycle and reuse 100% of plastic raw materials. Rather than worrying about sending away the scrap material to a fraction of its value – recycle it with a Rapid Raptor and an integrated granulator into high quality regrind and get the full value from every piece of plastic whilst also improving the business’ sustainability.

Plastic pollution has a big impact on the environment, but plastic waste isn’t unavoidable. Every time people make the choice to avoid or recycle plastic products, we lower the risk of environmental damage. To conscious of our choices, and encourage those around us to think twice before they throw away plastic or buy unnecessary plastic items and recycle the plastics in the long-term basis.


Our prototype:
At first, collecting PET bottles. Then sorting out white or green bottles in order to shredding into flakes. Besides there is an important part of taking out labels, caps & rings from the flakes. It should be properly clean from dirt and dust by hot washing to make quality product. To avoid moisture, we put flakes into vacuum drying. Now the flakes are ready to extrude in a sophisticated container, there is melting of the flakes in proper ratios. Finally, the melted material is blown by the air blower to make the plastic fiber.

Why this project can sustain:
·       Instead of making human life worse, this cheap PET bottle wastage can be transformed by this low-cost process.
·       This toxic PET bottle wastage can be easily transformed into environment friendly products including cushions, baby dolls, glass guards and so on.
·       In fact, widely used PET bottles can used as raw materials for the Yarn spinning industry by applying this simple process.
·       Besides, toxic PET bottle wastage also can be used to reduce another social toxic problem unemployment population of bd. Thousands of unemployed can be employed through the process.
·       (How Much Bangladesh import PET fiber). We can save this amount 
·       In subsequent, near future foreign currency can be earned by exporting quality fiber.
·       1 million plastic bottles recycled eliminates 180 metric tons of CO2 emissions from being released into the atmosphere
